I want to thank you for the excellent work completed on my AK, the gun sent to you was a MAADI AK47 with a crooked front sight and barrel. The AK47 which returned is a sub 1"MOA tack driver and a testimonial to your skills as a gunsmith. The work completed exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm sending you a second AK47, for you to preform the level of gunsmithing expertise which you have proven a master of. Thru out my 18 year career as a New York City Police Detective I have seen weapons which vary in quality from poor to excellent, the work completed at Elite Firearms will raise the quality and accuracy to only one standard which is excellence. Thank You, Miguel R.

I have owned many Romanian AK's in the past and have always wanted a Krinkov, maybe someday I will still be able to afford one, but for now, I saved a ton of money by acquiring an Elite Firearms AK pistol, I held it along side a Krink pistol in Dave's shop and it was only two inches longer and about $450 cheaper. I took it out to my farm for a trial run and it was smooth as butter, cycles, functions perfectly. The handguard fits very tight to the pistol with no wobble of play what so ever. Maybe one day I will be able to afford a Krink pistol, but for now, I'm more than happy with this one.

I came across Elite Firearms from the Saiga-12 forums, many of the guys on there were talking about how Dave at Elite was the man to go with if you want a shotgun conversion done right and on time. I called Dave and he already had a number of shotguns built and could ship one on receipt of my dealers FFL. So I went down to my local pawn shop and stuffed a money order and signed FFL in an envelope address to Dave. Ten days later, my dealer called me to pickup my shotgun. All I can say is WOW! This thing is nice and all modifications look factory. The barrel was cut and crowned perfectly, no metal burs or any indication it was shortened.
Outstanding job and fair price. Jason A. Flagstaff, Arizona

I have longed for an AKS-74 ever since I saw the opening scene of the movie “Red Dawn”, where Soviet Para Troopers land at the school with this awesome Kalishnikov variant. Now finally, after a very long wait and with the expiration of the AWB I can have that AKS-74 that I’ve always wanted. Dave built me one with a brand spanking new Bulgarian parts kit on an OOW receiver with plum furniture. This rifle is the real deal; Dave’s work is equal to that of any other well known AK builder. The difference is that you won’t break the bank on Dave’s guns and he goes a step further than the other guys in that he DuraCoats all his guns. This is bar far my favorite AK out of the three that I own. In the future Dave will handle all of my AK needs.
If you are looking for a high quality Kalishnikov build, Dave is your man.

Taken from www.gunsnet.net I bought a ak pistol on Saturday at a gun show, something had happened to the back swivle so the dealer told me to call the maker. I called Dave Sat. night asking when I could come in. I asked if he was open on Sundays as I am very busy. He said bring it in. He is not open on Sundays, but he took time out of his day to meet me. So I get up there and he replaces the swivle for free!! I get to talking to Dave about triggers and how I hate them on AK's, so he takes the gun, stips the lower and polishes the trigger, disconnector and hammer. Reduced the pull by 3 pounds. Remember we are an hour into this and he is doing this for free!!!! Talk about customer service, the gun was great to begin with! He then spends 30 minutes answering my questions, I was so impressed I left my SAR-2to get work done on it. More talking reveals that he has some AKS's underfolders, so I ask to see one, he shows me and I had to buy it. The best quality I have seen yet at a very good price. The reason I am posting this is because I can not remember the last time a dealer took the time to work on a gun for free and treat me as if I mattered. Guys and Gals if you are looking for a stand up gun maker/dealer you need to go to this guys site. elitefirearms.net.
No joke, I am only going to buy from this guy because he stands behind what he builds!!! Jeff M. Little Elm, Texas

Purchased my first Galil ARM from Elite Firearms, what an awesome rife. Dave added a few extras for me, his custom white nite sights, and custom muzzle break, so I could mount a M7 bayonet. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with it. Answered all my emails and did everything I asked him to.. I have been buying firearms for 35 years and have never received personal service like Dave gave me. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Customer service is outstanding. He treated me like I was his only customer. If you are considering a Galil, this 7.62X39 ARM is a one of a kind rifle. I added a drum, bayonet, and sling. Get one while you can, you won't be sorry. Thanks, Bernie P, Shenandoah, PA I wanted to take this time to express my delight in the build quality of the elite firearms Galil! I wondered why this was more expensive than the cheap build guns out there and I was a bit skeptical. Pictures can only tell you so much. I have ownd most of the AK variants on the market but I have always wanted a Galil. To date I have always favored milled AK’s. This was my first Galil and I wanted ot make sure it was worth what I was spending. When I picked the gun up and saw it for the first time I could not believe it. I have held many of the “other” Galils on the market including the import ones and without a doubt these are the nicest I have seen! I will be purchasing more of these as in my opinion they are the best builds anywhere! This is my new favorite AK variant and thanks to elite for a great gun. Worth ever penny! I sent my Saiga-12 (24" barrel) in for repairs/modification in early December if I remember correctly. I packed the shotgun haphazardly in a taped up box that was literally falling apart. Dave sent it back to me in early February very well packed in a FedEx box with enough bubble wrap to make a recycler cry. The shotgun was the "Hunter" model, 18" barrel & HK sights. Finish was uniform with no burrs or noticible blemishes. Welds were even and true. The crown on the barrel looks perfect and the threading was uniform and to my specifications. Reliability was 100%. There was not a single problem with any parts of the firearm upon getting it back from Dave. He answered my incessant weekly phone calls with a smile and never once lost his temper with me. I can be demanding, but when I'm putting my life behind something, I want one of the best gunsmiths I can get. He built everything exactly how I asked for it to be, and did so in a timely fashion. He even added a few custom features from verious other firearms I had seen/handled. Don't pay attention to all the internet hype surrounding "Diamond Dave" he did not steer me wrong and is a great guy. If you need a Saiga converted, give him a call he should take good care of you. Thanks Dave once again for a great shotgun, I'll be buying another one soon. Jay W. Finally got to test fire my Galil and it was great. Really impressive. Excellent trigger and perfect functioning. Really, though, I was thoroughly impressed. Letting loose with a 50 rournd mag is a blast, and despite the length of the trigger pull, the lightness and smoothness makes double taps intuitive. The weight of the weapon makes it amazingly steady on target. Thanks, Alex R. Thank you so much for converting my rifle. I received your rifle 4 months ago and have used it often since then. I feel absolutely confident that the job you did was excellent to superior. I have fairly high standards so I almost never rate a gun, even when it is new, as superior. I wanted to send you this letter so that you may post it on your website or provide it to any potential customers as solid evidence of the high degree of excellence and craftsmanship that went into my Saiga conversion. I had read many things about you and your company on the internet that caused me great concern. I am here to testify that all the negative things about you, which I have researched and found to be untrue, did NOT occur with the gun I received from you. The finish is smooth and fine, like velvet, and it operates and looks like a dream. I am so happy with my gun that I am trying to acquire another Saiga 12 which I will want converted. I would not let anyone but you touch it. If any one is in doubt, put them in touch with me and I will be happy to set them straight. After 4 months of using my gun, it is still working without a flaw. I show it to my friends often and they fight over borrowing it...and some of them have Benellis and Berettas!! My gun out preforms them every time!! They are truly jealous of this shotgun!!! I kind of laughed when I saw that you are called Diamond" Dave, but after I received my gun, I can see why. As far as gunsmiths go, you are a diamond in the rough. Anytime you are in my state, please know you have a place to stay. I am VERY happy with my gun. I think of it as a piece of art. Thank you and God bless. Brian E. South Jordan, Utah

You've nailed it. The 7.62X39mm Galil is it. You're decision to make the Galil in this caliber was the right one. It's what the Galil should have always been chambered for. The rifle you sent me not only exceeded my expectations but every rifle I own. The quality is as good or better than the Galils I've seen for $3,000.00 and they're only chambered for .223. The quality of this weapon and the fact that it is chambered in 7.62X39mm makes this Galil the best firearm buy I've ever made. It also makes it my favorite. I've wanted a Galil for the past 10 years and not only did I get one, I got the best one you can get. The .223 is too small, the .308 is too big, but the 7.62X39 is just right for this rifle. It made the wait worth it. The rife shot smooth and flawlessly with no failures or jams and was dead on target. The rifle handled well and the sights were easy to use. (And I was shooting in fairly heavy rainfall). Fit and finish of the rifle was great. I could tell a lot of attention and care was taken in building this rfle. I've heard and read some people bitch about the extra pound of weight the Galil is to tote but I didn't notice it that much until it outshot the hell out of my AK expecially on double taps. That extra pound made the Galil far more controllable and gave it much better shot recovery than other 7.62X39 rifles. If they don't like the extra weight they should buy a sling. If a rifle is too light it's bouncing with every shot. I'll take a little extra weight over a jumpy rifle like my AK any day. Once you shoot a 7.62X39 Galil a .223 or .308 won't do. The 7.62X39 is it which makes sense because that's the caliber of the rifle they were re-designing in the first place. It just fits. You have made one formidable, high quality weapon and you sell it at a very fair price. I hope you will continue to make these for a long time because everyone should have one. The only thing that exceeds the quality of your rifles is the quality of your customer service. I'm totally pleased with both. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, always called back, always took time to answer questions, and turn around time on ordering was incredible, I've never seen a rifle arrive that fast. The whole experience with Elite Firearms was an extreme pleasure. You are not only professional but just decent people. Thanks, Stephen S. Huntingtown, Maryland
